I have a note that I kept on my desk for most of the school year

and now this summer, it keeps me company on my kitchen ledge. I simply cannot put it away for to do so would shield its power over my disasterous moods. It merely says ...

And when I see it, my lips cannot help but curve up into a grin.

Such is the power of the written word!

And we all have it within us to weld this power onto others ~

This week has been our Spring Break Week!

I have been greeted each morning

by sunny yellow blooms

I decorated my front door for Spring

a dinner out
at a favorite restaurant.

A girlfriend trip to Leola's
with dear friends Jama and Paula

A cup of Chai Tea Latte with Dulcy

A visit to the Art Museum
to see the children's Art Exhibit

A fun lunch and shopping outing

with Sally and Alice!

I had such a wonderful run this week ~

visiting with good friends,

my mom and Jaclyn,

getting caught up with things

cooking manicotti for Mark,

and getting geared up and ready

to make the most of

the last 8 weeks of school!

... presently it's snowing!

Tomorrow it is suppose to be in the 50's.
