Eucharisteo Moment ~

It Friday night and were riding to our
favorite pizza place.

"Today I had a moment of pure joy!"
"Tell me about this moment"  Mr. Mark said.

"Today during Field Day I was with my class at the
Parachute Station.  The kids faces were so radiant
with having so much fun that I began to laugh
and I remembered how much I love to see
people I love laughing."

.. "go on"

"The kids and the Junior High Student Leaders
began to lift the parachute up
higher and higher
and then
They would run underneath it
and sit on it making a tent
and I could hear them giggling,
and laughing and then...

one of the student leaders pokes her head out
and says.. "they want you to come in"

SO..

They all ran out and we began lifting it
higher and higher and then we all
ran underneath and sat on the edges.
The dome was so high and it held
for quite a while,

during which the kids kept running over
and hugging me and sitting in my lap
and we were all giggling
laughing, and happily wrestling
under the tent like structure.

It was as if time stood still for
a long moment and I felt
and lived suspended
in that
one
happy
joyful

Eucharisteo
moment."

The rest of my Thankful list would be,

writing out Thank You and just because notes
to staff and  co-workers and my loving and supporting parents,
Using these sweet gingham cards
I found at Target.

More note cards
on my favorite flea market find,

This Vogart dishtowel in bright bright colors

And I have especially enjoying finding this book!

Others would be the smell of toast in the toaster,
the way the Spring rains have brought the purple
Hibiscus plant over our privacy fence for us to enjoy,
and so much more...

Wishing you many
Eucharisteo moments this week my friends.
Blessings ~ Katie

Katie,
This is so incredibly lovely! I know those students must just be crazy about you. You certainly would be the teacher that I would love and remember! Those parachutes are absolutely magic but what is especially magic is when they had you come inside. So wonderful!
Love,
Suz
P.S. Target has the best cards, don't they? I am on this constant search for thank you cards and I found some of the cutest ones there. Little letterpress ones! They are extra cute and more reasonable than the place I was buying from.

I bet that was fun. I remember doing this when I was in grade school and how much fun it was then. Your photos are so colorful.

I adore your happy list! And your parachute story. The only bad part of field day for me was that our parachute time got rained out. That's my favorite!

What a fabulous day and amazing memory to have forever. Loved the photos --so colorful and fun, just like the experience. And I love your finds -- we might have been fighting over a couple of those!

Wasn't that just the best day? I LOVED field day. And, thank God it wasn't so hot. The weather is killing me just now. I love all your happies and have already requested that book from the library. Thanks for the tip. Love you.
