~Sometimes * Sanctuary...

...Sometimes Storm
I read something here that I cannot
seem to let go of..

It was the story of two women

one was a
shelter
(or sanctuary)
for the
other.
The other was a
storm.
It reminds me of my
response
to the people, the world,
the environment,
around me..

Do I provide a
safe haven,
a gracious welcome,
words said in kindness,
a peaceful sanctuary?
Or
am I the
storm?

I know I have been both at times.
My goal
is
to intentionally
choose to be a

Sanctuary!
I give thanks each week for you, and you, and you and
you  and the many more who give me sanctuary
through your blogs. Thank you Dear Friends!
Katie

You have always been a place of joy and inspiration to me, so I guess that makes you the sanctuary. You are also allowed to be the storm, because that is what life is. The calm and the storm.

My blog doesn't appear to be on your sidebar and I would be honoured and grateful to be there!

Wishing you a peaceful weekend,

Jo

Thanks for sharing that! It makes me think about whether I'm a storm or a sanctuary. I hope you are having a wonderful weekend!

I would certainly say in the time I've visited you, I've found sanctuary. But storm is allowed, sometimes needed! I hope to visit you long enough to discover not only the sanctuary but to discover that you are able to share the storm if need be or inspire and motivate by storm as well. Not all storms destroy -- some bring beauty and growth in their wake.

You're most definitely a sanctuary! I KNOW I can be a bit of a storm..... I guess it's an "ebb and flow" sort of thing with me. Maybe we need both for balance.
love you!

Lovely post with beautiful photos; I strive to be sanctuary but I fear I'm sometimes the storm.
