**~ Hope

Hope

  1. The belief in a positive outcome
relating to events and circumstances in one's life.

The feeling that what is wanted can be had.

    For those who hope
I share this photo of inside a wreath on a front porch.

    Yes,
    it IS real,
    and yes,
    those 3 eggs
    are getting ready to hatch.

Isn't it a wonderful picture of hope?

If you are standing firm in hope these days
I am right there standing with you.
    Blessings my friends,

    ~ * Katie

I know so many people who are waiting in hope and today my heart is heavy for
them.  Just wanted you to know that I am with you in my heart and mind.
The wreath is so high that I had to reach up and turn my camera just so to click the picture.  Of all the places, it could only happen on my mom's porch. My mother
is such a hopeful person too, it makes sense that mother bird would choose her porch.

Great post!!!! Some days it's not as easy as others. Loved today when I could go to church then work outside and not worry about anything but whether the paint was the right color. Have a great day back at school. Peace, Jan

Katie what an utter delight! We had a nest just like this outside out kitchen window and watched 3 Shrike Thrushes emerge and fly to a safe place in nearby trees to start their new life. Joy of Joys! Hopes of Hope!

Katie...this is such a wonderful post. And I love that your mother has that blessing on her front porch! Yes...hope is good and I'm trying to stay filled with it, too.

Sometimes hope is all we have. Lovely post! I, too, have had a bird build a nest in the most hopeful of places and I did everything in my power to ensure her babies were able to hatch and leave the nest. I am also hopeful she doesn't build it there again this year, as I am unable to use my front door when this happens and the momma bird will dive-bomb the mail lady when she delivers my mail. Still, if she chooses that location again, I will help her in whatever way I can!

Hugs,
Tamerie

Kateie, I was just talking about hope and how it related to me. The autumn I was diagnosed with breast cancer I was out in the garden sitting on the cool earth. My husband was outside too and he just happened to have his camera with him. He asked me what I was doing and I told him I was gathering hope. He snappped a quick picture before asking, "what do you mean"? I was gathering seeds for next springs plantings! Right beside that was a flat rock I had painted, "He who plants a seed and waits to see, believes in God. Picking those seeds gave me hope that I would still be here the next spring and get to plant them and watch them grow.
Happy Spring Everyone! Let it be a season of hope! Rejoice!!!

Thanks, my dear. This is my word for the year and I wear it around my neck all the time. I found the little silver necklace for half price right after Jud was diagnosed.

Hope is so needed in the world right now. I am so saddened to listen to the news these days. When will we learn to get along? I know it is not that simple but we are all just people.

Sending you love and deep thanks for your friendship and kind support!

We are helping homeless people, they feel they have no hope. But we tell them, God is hope and he has a life full of Joy, Peace, Hope and a Future. It is for all of us who simply ask. Love the pic you took of the sweet birds nest. It is precious. God bless. Cathy

A PERFECT image of hope. And right now, as we "hope" that spring really will come, it couldn't be more needed! Thank you!

Hi Katie,
Thank you so much for visiting my blog. I haven't gone on it for a while, until today. You are so sweet to leave such warm thought and I love your message of hope. I have been struggling with chronic rhinitis and congestion.
Sounds so much more official, and a nicer than a runny nose !
I've been sick for about a month.
Since the over the counter meds aren't working, antibiotics, either. It's time to bring out the big guns and Pray.
I signed up to follow. Thanks for reminding me our Hope is In Him.
Bless You,
XO
Jan

Oh, my -- you posted this a bit ago and I am wondering -- did the eggs hatch? Were you able to enjoy the baby birds? I hope so -- I hope they have a wonderful life!
