I've been reading to beat the band. I'm trying to work up some creative words for the Valentines I'm putting together for my family. The ice outdoors (we got more ice than snow here) seems to have done a number on my creative juices. :(

You should get snowed in more often! Gorgeous photos - I particularly ADORE the snippet roll. I'll go and have a look at the tutorial.

We've been snowed in a couple of times this winter - eventually the novelty started to wear a bit thin but it is fun for the first week.........

Enjoy!

It all looks fabulous! And isn't Nathaniel Greene Park a jewel?! I go there at least once a week these days, but haven't since "the blizzard"..... hope we can get together soon and catch up.

In the "old" days: movie marathons. (Anne of Green Gables, Meet Me In St. Louis, Little Women, Pollyanna, or Seven Brides for Seven Brothers)

Now? Reading and more reading, blogging, and sorting through the "stuff." Sometimes weeding out is just downright healthy!

What do I do on snow days. Well, my friend, just now I'm missing you. I really am.

I've pictured you often this week, curled up in your wonderful studio making, making, making. I love that image. I love you.

We had 2 Snow Days last week and I don't know WHO was more excited- the kids or the teachers??? And we were completely snowed in as well. I stitched, read, took a walk, made cookies, and later in the day Mike and I took the jeep and went into the preserves and out into the country taking pics. It was breathtaking! So waht if we lost Casmir Pulaski Day and have an extra day added on in June...summer vacation is much overrated- LOL! Glad you enjoyed YOURS!

I love your post.I enjoyed my snow days tremendously. I watched the snow (blizzard), stitched, read, watched old movies, played with my cats, and drank hot cinnamon tea. We still have the snow and a little more. It is refreshing and quiet. I think I really like the quiet. I don't think people know how to enjoy the quiet anymore. It is good to be quiet in your soul.

I've been seeing these snippet balls a lot and I do like them! I was pretty productive on my snow day, too! If one has to have snow, may as well be snowed in with art supplies!

Like your header -- I have a bio of Evelyn Nesbitt -- American Eve -- and that's the cover photo!
