~* My Birthday Gift to You! ~*

Dear Friends ~*

Because I love the Hobbit tradition

of giving gifts to others on your birthday,

I would love to give you a

few little items:

First a recipe for Strawberry Salsa

(delicious on cinnamon/sugar baked totillas)

Salsa
2 kiwis
4 oz raspberries
1 lb strawberries
2 golden delicious apples
1 ½ T fruit preserves (I used strawberry)
1 T sugar
1 T brown sugar
Chop all fruit into small pieces and mix with sugar
and fruit pres. Refrigerate several hours before
serving (optional)

Cinnamon chips
10 small flour tortilla shells
Cinnamon
Sugar
Cut shells into chip size (I cut mine in eighths) and
place on cookie sheet.  Spray tortilla shells with
cooking  spray and sprinkle with cinnamon and
 sugar mixture. Re-spray lightly once cinnamon
 and sugar is sprinkled on.
 Make 8-10 min. at 350°.
(I'm going to bring this to the Boathouse
 "hook in" this Saturday)
