Turkey Creek ~ Jacuzzi Suite

Dear Friends,

Last week I celebrated my anniversary with Mark. We have been married longer than we were single. When we bid on and won a 2 night stay at a Jacuzzi Suite at a charity fundraiser last Fall, we felt like this would be the perfect way to use it. Even though we are not big Branson fans we were ready to give it a whirl. We arrived in Branson, checked in, and went to check out the suite, did I say

it was a Jacuzzi Suite??...

And that is what it was...

a bed

and a jacuzzi!

Nothing else unless you count the microwave on top of the portable refrigerator

and the small bath. To make it even more fun we decided to check out

the Branson Landing and

on our way there we passed over a creek called

Turkey Creek.

(you cannot make up better names for some of our Ozark places)

So we made a song up about our jacuzzi suite on Turkey Creek to the tune

of the old song Rocky Top.

And I remembered why I married Mark in the first place

he knows how to make me happy and laugh,

always laugh in every bizarre situation we encounter.

And you can't ask for a better companion than that

because life is so full of bizarre situations!

Wishing you a wonderful weekend!

Blessings,

Katie

Oh, just when I thought you were about to share the lyrics to your Jacuzzi Suite song sung to the tune of Rocky Top! The jacuzzi looks nice. Oh, and look at those big mirrors!

Happy Anniversary to you and Mark!

Happy anniversary! Hope you had a wonderful stay on Turkey Creek. Seems you can get through most anything if you can laugh together. I wish you many more happy years together. Jan

Katie,
Aren't those the best times being married....when you think you signed up for one thing and then end up with something else....and your man can TOTALLY make you laugh about it?!
Congratulations!

Congratulations!! You're lucky to have a man who can make you laugh. Mine does, too and I love that about him.

I'd love to hear your Jacuzzi Suite at Turkey Creek song!!!!

It actually looks kinda nice.....but I imagine maybe it could get a little humid with the bed right next to the Jacuzzi........Hope you got to shop a little at the Landing...Can't wait to get together tomorrow!

Thank you for the Anniversary wishes! As for the lyrics requests... I may have ruffled some feathers just by sharing this date about our Branson experience. Theres no need to pluck any feathers further... click on the link and use your wonderful imagination and I am sure you will get close. Just thinking about it makes me smile..just change the Tennessee to Mis-sir-ree! : )

Awe Katie! Happy Anniversary. I think you both are a gift to each other. To think that you have such warm feelings of appreciation for each other is so beautiful. I love the room you got. I think I'd have to order dinner in for the night! oxoxoxo

Happy Anniversay, Katie! I think I could live in a place with a bed, jacuzzi, fridge, and microwave. Do I need anything else? I think not!! : )
