Never heard a snowman talking
never saw a reindeer fly
Nor seen a wooden soldier walking
Nor met Santa eye to eye ~
in miracles of Santa Claus
what I believe
and I believe in Santa's cause.
light up at Christmas
as well as preachers and outlaws
So hang a bell for old St. Nick
cause I believe what I believe
and I believe
in Santa's cause.
The wonderful Santa pictures are from Leola's,
my classroom, Sherry's amazing Santa hooked rug,
and my mother (who taught and gave me the "spirit"
of Santa Claus). This post was inspired by my favorite
Christmas recording ~ The Statler Brothers Christmas Card
(whom I listened to endlessly in my younger years) and this post is dedicated
to my friends whom I always always think of at this time every year:
Tammy- track 6, Terry-track 4, and Melissa-track 10
Merry Christmas to you wherever you find yourself this year!
I love you all!

Merry CHristmas!!!!!!!!!!
I love, love that reading - so perfect! Merry Christmas friend - I hope your day was filled with lots of love and laughter and wonderful joy!
It's Christmas day and I had to stop by and wish my dearest pal a merry, merry Christmas. I love you, Katie.
What a fabulous post! My kids are 11-1/2 and 13 and I still find myself giving them a very vague answer to the "is Santa real" question. I can't bring myself to say no! I believe too, always have and always will.
Let's plan creative for 2009!
