Projects and First Week of Summer Vacation - Ooh La La!

Last night we went to Harlows and listened to a band called Mincks & Miller. You owe it to your soul to check them out. They have a recording out entitled Life After All. Excellent poets and songwriters and mood lifters. It was great hanging out with friends sharing tales and laughs and listening to great music!




Projects are busting out all over the place saying "pick me! Pick me next!" And I am having fun just thinking that I don't need to do anything really yet! Here is a picture of a rug hooking piece I am working on at the moment.






Outdoor kitty, Miss Heide, begs me to come outside and play with her, water the flowers, and sit on the bench with her and read.


The days are still cool enough to be able to do that comfortably. In a few weeks it will likely be too warm. Late last night I was drawn into re-reading the Ragamuffin Gospel and I was challenged by this point. "We must go out into a desert of some kind (your backyard will do) and come into a personal experience of the awesome love of God. Then we would nod in knowing... the greatest honor we can give God is to live gladly because of the knowledge of his love.
