Hi, Katie,
Looks like a wonderful time for all in Dallas. I love La Madeleine. The closest one to me is Austin. My niece has been making several trips to Austin here lately and has been kind enough to bring me a pastry for my morning coffee each time. Enjoy your evening, sweet friend. Sending love and hugs to you~ Vicki p.s. I, too, love that sweet girl with her cotton candy and balloon, very charming!!

Yum...I love crepes; we ate loads in Brittany. My favourite was mushroom with cream :-)

Hello Katie,
thank you for your nice words to me and for taking the time to comment!
I enjoyed your photos, and that book looks interesting, I'm off to have a look on Amazon.
Your little girl is a cutie!
Monica.
Wow! Those crepes look so yummy and that little doll is the sweetest...What a beautiful cake too...I am glad you had a great trip!
What a happy post! It was great fun seeing all your wonderful photos. Were they all taken in the Dallas area? (I think that's our closest "big" city---about 7 hours from where we live). I've never been, but hubby had visited many times as a child. Would love to visit, especially after seeing this---those cinnamon rolls alone would be worth the trip (that French restaurant wasn't looking too shabby either)!
