HaPPy SpRiNg GiVe AwAy FoR You!~`*`

Hello Friends ~*
Well...it's almost Spring
 in my little
place in the universe!
And you know what that means.

canoe rides, get togethers, cook outs,
picking flowers, planting flowers, trying out new
things, creating fun unique art,
 and....

Time For A
Give Away!!!

I have became entranced by Ruth Rae's
new book and I cannot help but try out
some of her shared ideas....

So my first give away will be a cuff bracelet
not exactly, but similar to the ones
shown above.  Of course I will
add my special Rag Gal signature
to it!

And that is only the first
of
three
give aways!!!

I just want to do something fun!
to celebrate my
many beloved blogging friends.

Just leave a comment on
any post between this one
and the ending one in April.
You will have your name put in once
for each post you comment on.
Tell me something I would love
to know about you
or
just say hello.

Blessings With Love,
Katie

Hello, I just stumbled across your blog. I love the cuffs and that skirt is gorgeous!

You are the second artist that I have seen making these cuffs...I originally thought they were for insulating your coffee cup, but then I was told they are bracelets. The trend has not hit NJ yet, at least as far as I and my "23 yo fashionista" daughter know.

I used to sew a LOT when i was pregnant with my first child especially made almost all of my maternity clothes and a LOT of her pants and overalls and little tops and a few dresses...i also made a blouse for me and a dress for her for her first easter in the same fabric.
then the other kids came along and I just didn't have time...I hope to sew again in the future, the 23 yo is the only one home, but my sewing machine is dead (thanks to the same kid and her brother messing with it when they were younger)

and I am giggling cause like Anna above I always wanted to make a quilt out of jeans...all different shades of indigo (and I am not a quilter) and then I thought quilted tee shirt fronts on the other side...how cool would that be?

If I get a cuff I might make the trend catch on here in South NJ.
LOL
Thanks for the opportunity,
Susan

I saw "Giveaway" in your blog title and rushed right over! LOVE the cuffs! I missed a cuff giveaway on another blog so don't want to miss this one. I may have to try creating one myself (I need to start some stitchery project-- why not make it a cuff?)

I love your give-away. The cuff bracelets are too cute. Tell your nice husband that I kept waiting for him to take his walk & finally about 5:00 (that would be PM) I had to go get my own paper. I had to drive the car down because the ice was falling from the trees & I feared a cuncussion (sp). Oh, I pray Spring will arrive this week. Thanks for the nice comment -- you're such a good friend. Jan

Hi sweetie! Those cuffs are adorable - so count me in! Something about me - hmmmmm did I mention that at one time I had a vintage clothing shop (an actual storefront and everything, as this was in the pre-Ebay/Etsy days). That sort of explains my addiction to old textiles and lace that I have to this day. So tell me more about that fabulous skirt in the photo!!!! I am totally obsessed :)

Hugs,

Sue E.

I tried to make a cuff... once:), put it aside and thought maybe sometime in the future. Yours are amazing - I think you either have the knack or you end up practicing tons and tons of hours - ha. I think I'll stick with journals for now.
Is that you in the photo? That skirt and leggings are fabulous!
Take good care and I hope you enjoy Holy Week!

Like you, I am a fan of hand-stitched cuffs, even to wear with jeans. And if that's you wearing the skirt, you must have a wonderfully whimsical wardrobe! I'll be over soon to see what I can borrow from your closet. :)

What beautiful cuffs! Please put me in with a chance, I've not seen anything like it in the UK. Wanna know something about me? I've got a picture of Tim Holtz framed in my workroom and if in doubt, I think, "What would Tim do?" He doesn't always answer! I live in the UK, work 1:1 with a little boy with special needs, and love my home, family and red wine. And now I'd better stop or you'll get my whole life story!!
