~ * Bliss And Inspiration *~

Each Season Comes with it own
JOY ~

~ * It is up to us to find them!

This weekend I set out for Leola's
for inspiration and bliss ~ *

And I was not disappointed,

I never am...

Good Friend and Neighbor Jan,
a proprietress of Leolas.
She has a great blog and you can visit
Summer Sundays by clicking here!
You will love it!

My friend Dulcy and I were thinking ~
Other than online and an occasional trip
to pick up grocery items,
there in no other place we acturally visit
 to shop beside Leolas.
If you are even close to Ozark
you should stop in and see
what we are talking about!

It has been a beautiful weekend
here in Southwest Missouri.
I hope you are experiencing
Joy, Bliss, and Inspiration
wherever you are
finding yourself
these days!

Wishing YOU many many
Almost Spring
BLESSINGS!

I am teaching myself how to use photo shop elements.
Here is my second try! I put the image inside the scene.
Then I put a filter over it!  If you have any suggestions
for visual tutorials, please let me know ~
it would be most appreciated!

That shop looks like such a wonderful place- I feel like I could move right in! Your photoshop pic looks awesome! We got the program for Christmas but I have not played with it at all! I am sure you know about Susan Tuttle and her Ilka's Attic blog. She runs some very cool workshops (on-line) to delve into Photoshop. She's on my sidebar if you have not heard of her. Have a wonderful week, Katie!!!

What a fun day! I went back Sunday with Jim and got my candle (and picked up a couple more goodies....oh dear....you'd think a $100 would be enough wouldn't you?)

Leola's sounds like a splendid place to spend lots and lot of time!! Did you get the black hat? It's gorgeous!!! You photoshop work is great.. I too need to get better at it... What little I have learned has been from Jessica Sprague... youtube her... she has TONS of tutorials and on her website you might even be able to sign up for free classes... (she's very scrapbooky but you will find that her teaching style is great and once you get the concept down... it can be easily adapted to any style) I have yet to take one of her classes (I have soooo much free time on my hands - lol) :) Thanks for the fun shopping trip. U R loved!! xo,
amt

Hi Katie,
Leola's looks great-just my kind of shop-I know I would be very tempted in there! I love your photoshop picture too-I find photoshop so hard. Recently I googled something about how to get the grainy vintage look in photos and lots of things came up. I was amazed! Thanks for your visit-I am having such fun with the kitten!
