I love to create little nests of happiness
around our home.
The Happy Places house my treasures
and make me happy whenever I look at them.
Most are "finds"
or gifts...
Or other's cast aways...
Some are created
Others purchased...
And
I find them
MaGiCal...
able to lift me up and cheer me on...
when life is not always looking so cheery..
What are your
"Happy Places?"
I would love to know.
Blessings,
Katie

Hi Katie,
Hmmm...I see a few things that look familiar! Love all your sweet little vignettes, especially your vintage pot holders...too cute.
Hope you're having a good time getting back to school. I saw Dulcy today at Leola's and we had a nice visit. Hope to see ya soon.

I LOVE your happy places. They make me happy.
Promise not to judge? In our post tornado trailer school, we have bathrooms in our classrooms. Awkward. However, I have added a corner shelf to mine, which now has several items you sent me adding to the charming decor. My students love it. I've been meaning to photograph it and post. And Katie is brightening the world of Mrs. E & 84 sophomores!
I love your happy places. What a great blog post!!!
Your "happy places" put a smile on my face! They're beautiful. I especially love your stove area, and the sweet kitty holding the utensils.
Love all your happy places. They all look like you. We had a great open house but we missed you. Sorry you've been "under the weather". Hope a weekend of rest left you feeling better. Habe a great week. Jan
Wonderful happy places, you have a great eye for treasure and of course an artful way of displaying them!

I like how you repurpose vintage items-- like on your desk at school the elf planter turned pencil holder (I wanted to post a comment on your studio blog, but couldn't).
My happy place is my studio. Comforting clutter, art from friends, an old creaky oak office chair to sit in and a view from two windows facing south and west.
Super cool 'nooks and crannies post' you've created such wonderful happy places. I love love love the new banner, fab! Mx
Looking at your happy places makes me happy! What lovely treasures you have and you can see all the love and care you put into creating them! Your dishtowels are fabulous!
My happy place is my craft room, wish I had a little more time to spend there.
Hugs,
Karyn
My happy place is home! And in my home, my happiest place is my creative space where all life happens! I teach my classes from here, work on arts and crafts, visit with friends near and far, and enjoy my blogging every day! I have a loveseat and comfy chairs in my creative space so can I visit with my children, grandchildren and husband Jim. Home is good!!!
