*~A Treasured Saturday~*

A perfect rose from the bouquet Mark gave me!
Some vintage photos Sally and I found
at an antique store after our lunch together,
with Vera from small group, at Lolas.
Sally gave me the original
movie companion book to the Hiding Place
(Corrie ten Boom is a favorite
author and Spiritual guide of mine)
Some vintage hankies
(I am going to use as wrapping)
Chocolate Cake two times in one day
this one is from Mark & I's dinner at Ocean Zen.
Enjoyed by us after Sushi,
Pear Salad, and Steak.
Wonderful cards and gifts!
So many wonderful cards, calls, serenades,
Thank You dear friends!
One more look at some beautiful flowers
and a wish for a Sunday filled with Blessings!
Katie
(Don't forget about the give away ~ see post below!)

Wow!!! What a fabulous birthday you had. Love the picture of the hankies you found. Sounds like a perfect day! Hope we can have a little "coffee time" next week.

Your bouquet of flowers brightened up my dreary Missouri day for sure! What inspires me? A day spent thrift store/ antiques flea market shopping (and finding some treasures to take home), the movie Amelie (I wish there were photo booths nearby for me to haunt), rummaging through someone's OLD "junk" and beng allowed to take old papers, letters and such home--AND doing all of the above with a kindred spirited friend. An art session is sure to follow!

oh my goodness! Happy Birthday! I didn't even know! I would have sent you something. I'll have to when I get to my mom's. I'm itching for time right now. I have so much to do before i leave for awhile. i'll get to sending you a tag too sometimes! You were right about that. what inspires me? Well isn't more inspiring than the love of Jesus. That moves me more than anything else in this whole world. i put a sweet sweet video on my blog about it. you will have to check it out and let me know if you like it!

happy birthday again and have a wonderful week!

We did a live production of "The Hiding Place" at Stained Glass Theatre (www.sgtheatre.com)several years ago. You can rent the video or purchase a copy from the box office. If that is one of your faves, check it out!
